Yevgeny Kolos

Yevgeny Kolos of Rochester died on Oct. 27, 2016 at his home. He was born in Russia on Aug. 15, 1940. He attended school and then starting working at a young age. He was drafted into military service. After serving for four years he returned to working with heavy machinery and as a carpenter. Yevgeny became a naturalized citizen of the United States on Dec. 16, 1998. He enjoyed reading, listening to the news, watching television and coming to church. He is survived by his sister in Russia, his friends at Northgate Plaza and his church family. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service to celebrate Yevgenys life will be held at 3 pm Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church, 400 5th Ave. SW, Rochester, MN, with Rev. Nancy Wheeler Handlon officiating. The service will be held in the chapel. Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
