OnMay 19th, 2013 Xavier Njemanze departed from this world and was received by God. Born on March 6th, 2010 Xaviers time here was short, but it was powerful. The battles he fought and won have touched us all, as he was a survivor of a brutal attack. A true blessing, Xavier held the ability to light rooms with joy. Like any toddler boy he could never get enough of the outdoors. He would spend hours riding his red tricycle, with his Thomas The Train helmet. Every store he walked in resulted in another bouncy ball. You would catch him with his smile on his face and making those around him laugh. Overall, Xaviers favorite time was spent with his big brother, who he admired. Xaviers strength and determination to overcome all odds taught us all to never give up and try again. His perseverance taught us faith. His loving nature taught us to open our hearts a little more. Xavier is survived by his mother, Chika Njemanze; brother, Malik Njemanze; grandmother, Karen Njemanze; uncle; Natta Njemanze; aunt, Teresa Cole; and many cousins. Xaviers life will linger strongly in the memories of all he met. All those who would like to thank God for his gift of Xavier, may attend his funeral at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
