Wilma Renning

Wilma "Wim" Lois Renning, 95 of Rochester, MN passed away on Oct. 16, 2018, at Homestead of Rochester. Wim Schellin was born on June 7, 1923 in Rochester, MN to William and Merle Schellin. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1941 and started working at Northwestern Bell phone company. She married Frank "Bud" Renning on September 29, 1946. In 1959 she helped Bud start Renning's Flowers and they operated it until 1988 when they sold it to their daughter Kim and her husband Phil. Wim loved to entertain, have garage sales, play cards, go bowling and go out with family and friends. She was a member of Eastern Star, Elks, Soriee Dance Club and a Charter Member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Wim is survived by sons Jerry (Adair) and Bruce, daughter Kim (Phil) Schroeder, Sister Elizabeth Browning, grandchildren, Meghann (Jeff) Conly, Asia Renning, Brandie (Chad) Renning Larson, Bryce Renning, Tom (Tiffany) Archambault, Alyse (Nick) Keller, Andrea (Mark) Junge, Great Grandchildren Cate, Braeden, Brooke, Trinity, Payton, Bree, Ruby, Hazel and Landen. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, Sister Dorothy Rush, Brothers-in-Laws Gene Rush and Ross Browning, Daughter- in-Law Barb Renning. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
