A memorial service for Warren W. Brumm, 88, of Rochester, MN will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Private family interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Warren White Brumm was born on December 22, 1925 in Rochester, MN to Max and Ethel (White) Brumm.He died on February 21, 2014 at the Seasons Hospice Cottage. Warren was a graduate of Rochester High School.He served in the United States Navy during WWII.He was stationed in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska as a radar/radio man and gunner for a bomber squad.He married Corrine Dee on June 7th, 1946 and they made their home in Rochester.Warren owned a marine dealership for several years and then a painting contractor until retirement.He was a long time Eagles Club member and was a member of the American Legion.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cribbage and boating.Warren had a unique and quick witted sense of humor. Survivors include his three children, Penny Dzubay of Stewartville,MN, Becky (John) Restad of Rochester, MN and Chip (Antoinette) Brumm of Lakeville, MN; seven grandchildren: Tony, Bret and Mallory Dzubay, Katie and Samantha Restad, Marcus and Mitchell Brumm and 2 great grandchildren: Marcus and Madie.Leonard Brumm (brother) of Plainview, MN.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters and two brothers. Memorials can be directed to Seasons Hospice or the American Heart Association.
