ROCHESTER: MINN. Warren J. Barnes, 91, passed away November 5, 2012 at his home. Warren was born December 23, 1920, in Rochester to James and Helen (Marcks) Barnes. He was a veteran of the US Army, proudly serving his country during WWII. On March 14, 1953, he married Lorraine Bolduan in Rochester at Trinity Lutheran Church. Warren was a boiler engineer and worked at Nelson Tire Town and retired from Madonna Towers. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing everything he could. Warren loved taking long walks and traveling to various National Parks or traveling to visit family. Warren and Lorraine enjoyed spending the last 15 years wintering in Las Vegas but above all, Warren loved spending time and making memories with his family. Warren is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lorraine; children, Jean (Dennis) Southwick of Rochester, Karen Barnes of Mankato, James Barnes of Rochester; grandchildren, Jesse, Tara, Jason and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Micayla, Catherine, Ashleigh, Zxione and Keonella. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen; brother, Keith and sisters, Beulah Staege and Norma Walker. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church 222 6th Ave SW, Rochester. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester and one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev.
