Wade Allen Hendrix, 48, of Rochester, MN passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital. Wade was born on June 12, 1975 to Jimmy and Donna (Radke) Hendrix.
Wade graduated from John Marshall High School in 1993. After high school he worked in various jobs in the construction industry, most memorable for him was Rochester Road Constructors, along side his family. In 2000, Wade met the mother of his son, Billie Jo Alexander and together, they welcomed their first and only child, Jimmy, in 2005. Wade was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, watching MN sports teams, working on various projects with his brother, gardening, grilling for others and putting on the best fireworks shows. He most specially enjoyed getting to teach and share his hobbies with his son. Wade was happiest at family gatherings or spending time with his family. He had a soft spot for dogs, in fact, if you couldn't find Wade or the family dog, they were most likely driving the back roads looking for deer.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy and his mother Billie Jo, mother Donna Hendrix, brother Shane (Jackie) Hendrix, sister Barb Gallagher, nieces Shanna (Adam) Badger and Nikki Hendrix, nephews DJ Yelton, Dylan Hendrix, CJ Hendrix and Austin Hendrix, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews and his godchildren, Jada, Sky and Timmy Morris.
He is proceeded in death by maternal grandparents, Paul and Beluah (Newell) Radke, his dad Jimmy, his brother Jimmy Jr., his nephew Michael Hendrix, his niece Leslie Hendrix, his brother-in-law Dan Gallagher and special friends Tim Morris and Kerry Krudwig.
Wade was able to give back by organ donation.
