A Memorial Service for Vivian Postier Johnson, 95, of Rochester, MN will be at11:00am on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes with Elder Dan Perkins officiating.Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Vivian F. Hanson was born on July 6, 1916 in Hendricks, MN to Nels and Caroline (Fjerstad) Hanson and died on May 25, 2012 at the Samaritan Bethany Home on Eigth. Vivian moved with her family at a young age to Douglas, MN and later to Rochester.She married Vernon Postier and he passed away on July 31, 1979.She later married Arnold Johnson and he passed away on August 28, 1990.Vivian was a supervisor in the housekeeping department at the Kahler, retiring after 35 years.Vivian was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.Vivian enjoyed her family, music and gardening.Vivian was fondly known at Samaritan Bethany Home where she resided the last six years, as the The Whistler. Survivors include her children, Farrell (Nancy) Postier of Rochester, MN, Dennis (Lynda) Postier of Tuscon, AZ, Sheila (Bob) Coe of Rochester, MN,Steven Postier of Rochester, MN and Marlo (Dawn) Postier of Racine, MN; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, two spouses, six brothers, Morris, Eugene, Lloyd, Howard, Bernard and Orean, three sisters, Marcella Nygaard, Verna Wharton and Darlene O'Dell.
