Virginia May Polski

Virginia M. Polski, 92, died on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Samaritan Bethany on 8th in Rochester. Virginia was born in St. Paul, MN on April 18, 1919 to Edward and Matie (Tavernier) Kanthack. Virginia will be remembered for her smile, sense of humor, lovely needle work, green thumb, caring nature and her unrelenting love for family, friends and life. Virginia is survived by six children, Carolynne Amanda (Gregg) Otteson, of Backus, MN, Maxine(Ron) Cote, of Thief River Falls, MN, Sandra (Tim) Lorenz, of Ellsworth, WI, Sharon (Greg) Petersen,of Rochester, MN, Larry (Tammy) Polski, of Princeton, MN, and James (Julie) Polski, of St. Croix Falls, WI; a sister, Helen Bradley, of St. Paul, MN; 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 greatgreat grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; a son, John Polski; grandsons Colin Petersen, Patrick Hartnett and her former husband, Lawrence Polski.
