ROCHESTER -Virginia Ginny Casper, 84, died on Monday, June 13, 2011 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Ginny was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 2, 1926 to Fred and Sophie (Lagowski) Kukla.She married William Casper on August 5, 1944 in Altus, OK.Ginny was a prominent business woman in Rochester of the Village Trader from 1971 until 1994.She loved gardening, cooking, traveling, and hooking wool rugs.Ginny especially loved her children and family. Ginny is survived by her husband of 66 years, William; two children, Dick (Carol) Casper, of Rochester, and Karen (Steve) Hastings, of Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Cathy Hastings, of White Bear Lake, MN, Sarah Casper-Rabe, of Rochester, Joshua Casper, of Rochester, and Eric Hastings, of Houston, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Patrick and Johnathon Galvan, of White Bear Lake. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Kukla; and a sister, Geraldine Krueger. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. onFriday, June 17, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Samaritan's Purse or the Salvation Army.
