ROCHESTER -Virginia D. Wilber, 95, died on Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. Marys Hosipital in Rochester. Virginia was born in Oronoco on March 15, 1918 to James and Margurite (Fifield) Postier.She was raised by her grandparents for most of her childhood.Virginia graduated from Rochester High School in 1937.Virginia married Leonard Wilber on July 10, 1937 in Rochester.Leonard died on January 20, 2003.They lived in Rochester and Virginia worked for Wilber Transfer, a family business owned by her husband and father-in-law.She also was a secretary for Telex and IBM for 45 years. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family, flower gardening, reading, and traveling. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Patricia White, of Rochester; a daughter-in-law, Karen Wilber; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; a son, James Leonard; her parents; a brother, Richard Dick Postier; and son-in-law George White. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Ranfranz and VineFuneral Home with Rev. Dr. Teresa Roberts officiating.Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
