Funeral services for Virginia A. Kranz, 86, of Rochester, MN will be at 10:00am on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes with the Rev. Dr. Charles Ortloff officiating.Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 4:00 7:00pm at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Virginia Ann Paul was born on January 27, 1929 in Sparta, WI to Raymond and Julia (Reisse) Paul.She passed away on July 28, 2015 at her home. Virginia graduated fromHigh School.She married Gordon T. Kranz on January 6, 1951 in Iowa and they made their home in Rochester.Virginia worked for 40 years as a waitress at Michael's Restaurant and she worked with her husband for 26 years at Old Rooster Antiques.Virginia enjoyed her cats, painting and sewing and looking for good deals at rummage sales and antuque dealers.She was a 39 year member of AA and enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Gordon of Rochester, MN; children, David (Susan) of Crystal River, FL, Lisa Kranz of Portland, OR, Scott (Sonja) and Jeff (Linda), both of Rochester, MN; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Robert and two sisters, Doris Peliska and Arlene in infancy. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
