ROCHESTER, MINN: Virgil A. Weaver, 93, of Rochester, passed away April 23, 2011 at Samaritan Bethany on 8th. He was born March 19, 1918 in Gibson City, IL to Claude and Edna (Nasers) Weaver. Virgil worked for Mayo Clinic for over 20 years but spent most of his life farming. He was a member of Autumn Ridge Church. Virgil enjoyed camping, playing cards and attending parades and agricultural events. He was a kind-hearted, generous man that always put others first. Virgil took great interest in getting to know other people. Virgil's main love in life was his family. Virgil is survived by his stepdaughter, Debra (Terry) Throndson of Rochester; siblings, Juanita Wright of Grand Meadow, Kenneth (Elsie) Weaver of Rochester, Marjorie Hillman of Racine, Harvey (Janis) Weaver of Mazeppa, Harley (JoAnn) Weaver of Babbitt; sister-in-law, Mavis Weaver; brother-in-law, Bob Aaby; 26 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews. Virgil was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy; parents; siblings, Harold Weaver, Bernice Baker, Ernest Weaver and Betty Aaby. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Autumn Ridge Church 3611 Salem Rd. SW, Rochester, MN 55902. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901 and one hour prior to the service at church. Pastor C.
