Victor Schnobrich, age 80, of Rochester, died on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Mayo Hospital - St. Marys Campus in Rochester. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Pl NW, Rochester MN 55901. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Pine Island Cemetery at a later date. Victor was born on April 26, 1939, in Spring Field, MN, to Joseph and Eva (Schumacher) Schnobrich. In 1960, he married Jacqueline Reich and they had two daughters, Julie and Jeryl. They later divorced. On December 23, 1974, he married Bonnie Schreader and they had one daughter, Jessica. Victor began his career in auto body and was a co-owner at a local shop in Mankato, and he later worked at Clements in Mankato before transferring to their Rochester location. Victor retired from Bob's Auto Body after working for many years. Victor enjoyed many things in life, not only with his own family but with his longtime friends and their families. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping, snowmobiling, golfing, playing horse shoes and even shooting pool. He loved gardening and planting flower bulbs. Victor was a member of the Eagle's Club. Victor is survived by his children, Julie Schnobrich of St. Peter, Jeryl (Dan Strehlo) Motto of St. Peter and Jessica (Brian) Vesey of Rochester; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Bernie (Lee) Schnobrich of St. Peter, Virginia (Bill) Busch of Mankato, Janice (Richard) Berger of St. Peter and Gary Schnobrich of Mankato; many nieces and nephews. Victor was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie, who died on December 14, 2018; his parents; one brother and four sisters.
