Vicky Boelter

Vicky Lynn Boelter, 75 of Byron, MN died Friday, January 24, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Hospital- St Mary's Campus. She was born April 30, 1949, in Lake City, MN to Walter and Marcella (Holst) Ahrens, Vicky grew up in Lake City and graduated from there in 1967. She then moved to Mankato and attended Technical College. Vicky was united in marriage to Terry Boelter on September 23, 1972, in Lake City, after marriage the couple made their home in Byron. She worked at a few various jobs and at Mayo for over fifteen years. Vicky's life was family, whether it was cooking large family meals, attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events (especially basketball), or going on trips with Terry to Branson, Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, or Washington DC. She also liked attending JOY Group and Bible study at Christ Lutheran in Byron.

Vicky is survived by her husband Terry, three children Wendy (Todd) Ramaker of Racine, Todd (Carla) Boelter of Byron, Chad (Amanda) Boelter of Mantorville, and nine grandchildren Braxton, Taylor, Brianna, Mya, Chase, Brock, Kendall, Jack, and Jaxton. She is also survived by her brother Randy (Vickie) Ahrens, and her sister Jean (Scot) Meyer both of Lake City. She was preceded in death by her parents, and stepmom Beaulah

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday January 30, 2025, at Christ Lutheran Church in Byron (201 Frontage Rd. NW), visitation will be held Wednesday January 29, 2025, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home from 5-8 PM and at the church on Thursday for an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the East St. Olaf Cemetery.
