Vicki Greymont

Vicki R. Greymont, age 72, of Rochester, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Seasons Hospice House in Rochester. A celebration of life will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN 55901, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A private family inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Vicki Russell Greymont was born on April 22, 1946, in Owatonna to Gilbert and Ruth (LaTourelle) Russell. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1964. Vicki moved to Milwaukee and worked as a medical secretary. On September 9, 1967, she married David Greymont at the Assembly of God Church in Owatonna. Vicki worked as a court transcriptionist transcribing court cases while living in Shorewood and then Wausau, WI. In 1978, she moved to Rochester where she worked for the Mayo Clinic Hospital as a medical secretary. Vicki enjoyed many things including traveling especially road trips and cruising, bowling, golfing, cooking, playing cribbage and camping. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, cub scout den mother and was a proud mother of two Eagle Scouts. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren. Vicki is survived by her husband, Dave; children, Michael Greymont, Sarah (Paul) Greymont-Lee and Scott (Margaret Hall) Greymont; nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and brother, David (Judy) Russell. Vicki was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara and Patsy; and brother, Bill. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of the donor's choice or to the American Cancer Society.
