Verlet Conner

Verlet Jean Conner, age 89, of Rochester, MN died on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Edenbrook of Rochester. Verlet J. Conner was born on January 24, 1930 in Rock Dell, MN. She was the daughter of Joseph and Alpha (Lee) Aaby. Verlet was a graduate of Rochester High School. She married Floyd O. Conner on July 14, 1956 in Houston, TX and they lived in Key West and St. Cloud, FL for many years. The couple moved to Rochester in 1981 and Verlet went to work for and retired from the Mayo Clinic. Verlet enjoyed Bingo, going to Treasure Island, having breakfast at Dunn Brother's on Elton Hills, spending time with her family and the time she had spent on a bowling team in Key West, FL She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Asvang of Florvag, Norway, and Cindy Conner of Winter Park, FL; six grandchildren Chelsey Olson of Chaska, MN, Cally Olson of Blaine, MN, Dan Olson of Rochester, MN, Brandon Schulz of Stevens Point, WI, Zackery Conner Martin of Winter Park, FL, and Alexis Conner Martin of Winter Park, FL; Sister, Delores (Robert) Hagen of Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Olen Conner, daughter, Lisa Jayne Conner and son, William Conner. A Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at East St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery, Rock Dell Township, MN.
