Valerie J. Coners

Valerie J. Coners, 59, of Rochester, MN died Friday, September 27, 2019 at her residence. Valerie Jane Grev was born October 9, 1959 to DeWayne and Dorothy (Peters) Grev in St. James, MN. She grew up in Mountain Lake, MN and graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1978. After graduation she moved to Brooklyn Park and then to Rochester in 2013. She was an active member of The Gathering Church in Rochester and worked at ABC. Valerie is survived by one son, Josh Coners of Rochester, MN; her siblings, Gary (Patricia) Grev of Dayton, MN, Craig (Karen) Grev of Byron, MN, Denise (Mike) Linscheid of Butterfield, MN, Andrea (Verlo) Adrian of Windom, MN and Cory (Julia) Grev of Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre (5482 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN) on Saturday, October 5, 2019. A Prayer Service will start at 1:00 p.m. with the Pastor Willie Grimm officiating. Graveside services will take place at St. Olaf Cemetery in rural Odin, MN on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes is honored to be serving the Coners family.
