Ulanda "Lou" Bailey

Ulanda "Lou" Bailey, 84, of Rochester, MN, died Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Season's Hospice. Ulanda "Lou" Bailey was born August 12, 1934 to Samuel and Katherine Elchuk of Minneapolis, MN. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing and worked as an RN for over 40 years. She married George C. Bailey Jr. on October 18, 1958 and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last year with family & friends. Lou enjoyed playing golf, bridge, watching the wildlife/birds in their backyard and loved having pets. She is survived by husband, George C. Bailey Jr. of Rochester, son, Boyd Bailey of Burnsville, MN, daughters, Jill Bailey of Rochester, MN, Jan (Brad) Tiede of Eyota, two granddaughters, Alli and Grace Bailey, both of West St. Paul, MN and her sister in law, Mary Jo Reich of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Bailey, her sister, brother, and her parents. A memorial service will be Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:00am at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Chapel with Pastor Chuck Coggins officiating. Private Burial will be in Oakwood East Cemetery. A visitation will be Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 5pm-7pm at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Season's Hospice and Paws & Claws Humane Society.
