Travis James Eaton

Travis J. Eaton, age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 18, 2021. Travis James Eaton was born July 3, 1982 in Rochester, MN the son of Cynthia (Clark) Grant and James Eaton. He grew up and attended school in Rochester and Chatfield, MN. Travis married Holly Robinson and, in their union, had two sons, Sawyer and Owen. They later divorced. Travis worked as a manager at Subway in Rochester and had a small lawn care business on the side. He was a loving son and his children were the light of his world. Travis is described as a hardworking, dedicated, loving individual who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed Harleys and cars, hanging out with friends, eating out and listening to music. As a child he spent weekends with Grandma and Grandpa Clark, enjoyed being on a bowling league with his friend Ronnie and loved his husky, Phil. He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Grant of Wanamingo, MN; father, James Eaton of Massachusetts; sister, Shannon (Mat) Schaefer of Wanamingo; niece and nephews, maternal grandfather, Don Clark of Zumbrota; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his stepdad, Donald Grant, grandmothers Olivia Clark and Monica Clark, grandparents Doran and Kaye Eaton and uncle Jerry Clark. A visitation will be held 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN. A light meal will follow at the Ranfranz and Vine Reception Centre. A private family burial will be in Oronoco Cemetery. Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home is honored to be serving Travis' family.
