Travis Lee Holder, 22, went to be with the Lord Sunday March 29, 2015, losing a long hard fought battle with drug addiction. He was born January 13, 1993 in Rochester, but grew up in Kasson where he graduated from high school in 2011. Travis was the sweetest person, he was kind, funny and thoughtful and loved everyone. He worked as a Home Health Aide for nearly a year. He was very well liked by the staff and the residents. Recently, he started a new job at Steven's Heating, which he really seemed to enjoy. Travis loved music, working out at the gym, Kylie the family dog, his many nieces and nephews, video games and his friends. Travis is already sorely missed, but will always be remembered and loved by those who hold him in their heart. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Victoria Holder of Rochester, maternal grandparents Victor and Ruth Ann Bittner, paternal grandmother Marcene Holder, four sisters, Michele Branch, Jessica Breidel, Katelyn Holder and Briar Holder, two brothers, Taylor (Jessica) Holder and Phoenix Holder, as well as 3 neices and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Jacqueline Bittner, paternal grandfather Larry Holder, his uncle, Hilmar Bittner and his nephew Jordan Breidel. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Assembly of God Church in Rochester. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at church. The Reverend Jim Filbeck will be officiating. The Family asks that any donations be directed to Teen Challenge in Rochester, while Travis lost his battle with addiction, we hope that someone will be able to win theirs.
