Tobias Crispin Parks

Tobias C. Parks, age 39, of Rochester, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2014. He was born on November 28, 1974, in Owatonna, MN, to Lee Roy and Marilyn (Rodenz) Parks. At an early age Tobi put his trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1993. Tobi attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College and RCTC to pursue a degree in graphic design. On June30, 2000 he married his high school sweetheart, Monique Freiderich at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Rochester. He loved painting, games, role playing, and animals, especially his constant companion Pocket. Tobi also enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, and friends. Tobi is survived by his wife, Monique of Rochester; parents, Lee Roy and Marilyn Parks of Rochester; sister, Charity (Stephen) Riffel of Milton, FL; nephew, Michael Riffel; nieces, KatieLynn, Laura, and Madison Riffel; grandmother, Vivian Rodenz, age 89, of Mabel; mother-in-law, Lorretta Freiderich of Rochester; sister-in-law, Michelle Freiderich of Rochester; brother-in-law, Mitch (Kathy) Freiderich of Chanhassen; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tobi is preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Rodenz; one uncle; and father-in-law, Lyle Freiderich. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November, 18, at Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester, with Pastor Woody Roland officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Monique Parks in memory of Tobi.
