Timothy D. Rueb, 34, of Rochester, MN passed away January 7th, 2021 in his home. Tim was born on May 17th, 1986 in Rochester, MN to Colleen and Tom Rueb. Tim was a graduate of Mayo High School. He worked at Hy-Vee grocery store. While working at Hy-vee, Tim graduated from Le Cordon Bleu with high honors on November 3rd, 2012. After leaving Hy-vee, he accepted a position as chef at the American Legion in Rochester, MN. Tim married Carrie Oakland on September 19th, 2015. Tim loved spending time with his wife, his family members, and friends. He always had a smile to share. His many quick, fun, sarcastic statements illuminated family time. Tim brought much laughter to many throughout his time here on earth. Tim had a quiet spirit and a gentle soul. His life was brief, but the joy he brought us during it will remain a comfort to our hearts. Tim enjoyed rollerblading, skateboarding, and watching his favorite hockey team, The Minnesota Wild. He also liked watching stand-up comedians and searching for new quotes to live by. Tim is survived by his wife, Carrie and his fur babies, Faith and Hope, his parents, Colleen and Tom Rueb, his sister, Melissa (Chris) Peterson, his brother, Tony Rueb, Father -in Law and Mother -in -Law, Vernon and Inez Oakland, brother's and sister's in -law, Jill (Chris) Richards, Danny (Ashlee Solheim) Oakland, Kevin (Niki) Oakland, and many nieces and nephews. Special friends, Tom Ross, Stacy Oakland and Peggy Hangartner. He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents Nadine and Ralph Lynch, Grace and Wilbert Rueb, uncles Tim and David Lynch, aunts Vickie and Diane Rueb, and cousin, Aubree Fenske. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Hope Summit Christian Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
