Thomas Dale Dohrmann

Thomas Dale Dohrmann, 50, of Mantorville passed away in Rochester at Saint Marys Hospital on February 21, 2016. Tom was born October 18, 1965 to Caryl and Karen (Gaedtke) Dohrmann in Rochester.He went to Kasson-Mantorville High School and graduated in 1984.He took 2 years of generals at RCC.He worked as a mechanic, counterman at NAPA for many years and most recently at Quality Pork Processors in Austin as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. Tom enjoyed family and friend times by the bonfire, cars and everything about them and trying to make them go faster, wood working, new and cool tools and traveling by car and motorcycle.Tom was known for being a mechanical genius, having a big heart and giving spirit, giving teddy bear hugs and collecting hats and all kinds of bears. Tom is survived by his father, Caryl Dohrmann; brother, Michael Dohrmann; sister JoAnn Hines all of Kasson; two nieces, Megan Dohrmann and Allison Hines; three nephews, Ian Hines, Sean Hines and Andrew Dohrmann, all of Kasson, MN and Toms significant other, Sue Tumberg of Mantorville, and her daughter, Lyndzee.Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Dohrmann; grandparents; and aunts and uncles. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Kasson.Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Kasson and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson.
