Terrance "Terry" Lee Bowe

Terrance (Terry) Lee Bowe, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2022, after a two year battle with cancer. Terry was born on September 27, 1952 to Francis and Lorraine (Simon) Bowe. He attended St. Francis grade school and graduated from Rochester Lourdes in 1970. After high school, Terry worked as a cook for various restaurants, including Mac's Restaurant, before being employed at Marigold Dairy for many years. After Marigold, he worked as a bartender at the Moose Lodge and American Legion Post #92. In 1975, he married Fern Schleck in Elba, MN. They had two children, Eric (Cassie) of Rochester, MN and Heather (Ben) Limpert of Farmington, MN. Fern and Terry later divorced. Terry was an avid golfer his whole life. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards and being outdoors enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a loyal Minnesota sports fan and would never turn down a cold beer. Terry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Terry is survived by his longtime companion, Cheryl Nelson; his two children and three grandchildren, Avery Bowe, Brynlee and Jase Limpert; brothers, Tom (Wenda) of Prescott, WI, Dan (Kim) of Rushford, MN, Pete of Rochester, MN, Jeff (Kim) of Rochester, MN, Mike (Penny) of Kasson, MN; ex-wife, Fern Bowe and many nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Lorraine; brother, Dennis; grandparents, aunts and uncles. A special thank you to The Mayo Clinic Oncology and Methodist Hospital station 4-4 staff. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 4, 2022 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of the service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. A social gathering will follow burial at the V.F.W. Post 1215. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
