Teressa Downey

Teressa "Tracy" Downey, 63, was born into eternal life on January 14, 2025 after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. Prior to her illness, Tracy was a caring friend to others struggling with the disease, sharing that cancer "cannot invade the soul" or "conquer the spirit."

Tracy's spirit was fierce, especially while watching a football game or perfecting a dish in the kitchen. She treasured time with her friends and family throughout her life in Milwaukee, Indianapolis and Dodge Center, Minnesota - time that was usually filled with equal parts laughter, truth and love. The love of Tracy's life was her daughter, Erica Nicole Downey.

Tracy was preceded in life by her loving parents, William and Phyllis Downey, and her sister-in-law Linda Downey. She is honored in life by her brothers, Bill and Jack Downey, her nieces and nephews, Meagan Downey (Steve Trombley), Alanna (Patrick Bartel), and Conor (Tiffany Bennet), and her daughter Erica.
