Susan Lynn Daniels

Susan L. Daniels, 54, of Rochester, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN as a result of a motorcycle accident. Susan was born April 14, 1959 in Austin, MN to Gary and Janith (Moehlman) Corkill.She graduated from Austin High School in 1977. She married Ronald Daniels on March 3, 1979 and later divorced after 23 years of marriage.She was employed by the Rochester School District for 29 years and still working till her death.She worked in Food Service at John Adams Middle School and John Marshall High School.She was a cheerleading coach from 1994-1997 at Pine Island High School. Susan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.She also enjoyed puzzles, outdoors, gardening, and spending time at the Lake Cabin. Susan is survived by her children, Amy (Ryan) Tostenson and Riley (Jessica Hagstrom) Daniels, both of Rochester, MN; three grandchildren, Myles Tostenson, Elizabeth Tostenson and Ethan Daniels; her parents, Gary and Janith Corkill of Austin, MN; her brother, Bradley (Pamela) Corkill of Eau Claire, WI; and nieces and nephews, Nathan, Nicholas, Cassie, Sean and Reid.She was preceded in death by her brother, Brian; and maternal grandparents, Fred and Lucille Moehlman. A memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 869 7th Ave SE, Rochester.Burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, MN.A visitation will be from 5:00 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 24 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
