Sue Pickett

Sue (Candace) Pickett, 64, of Millville, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Sue was born October 29, 1952 in Lake City, to Thomas and Nancy Klennert. She grew up in the Zumbro Falls area. On October 29, 1977, she married Gerald Pickett, and the couple lived in West Albany. Sue worked for the Lake City School District for 31 years and retired. She was a member of Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester and loved to fish, travel, sew, ride horse, water- ski, and roller-skate. Her favorite places to be were at their cabin in northern MN and their home in FL. Sue is survived by her husband, Gerald of Millville; three daughters: Malissa (Darryl) Sorum of Rochester, Sheree (Randy) Osborn of Kansas, and Sandy (Gerry) Gathje of Chatfield; her mother, Nancy Klennert of Zumbro Falls; one sister, Patti (Pete) Trout of Oronoco; three brothers, Frank (Sharleen) Klennert of Thielman, Jim (Ellen) Klennert of Lake City, and Rob (Joyce) Klennert of Zumbro Falls; numerous grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017, from 4-7 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Autumn Ridge Church, 3611 Salem Road SW, in Rochester. Her Burial will be in the Eyota Cemetery.
