Steven E. Defrang

Steven E. DeFrang, 40, of Zumbrota, MN died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. Steve was born August 20, 1974 to James and Rita (Ring) DeFrang in Zumbrota, Minnesota.He graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1993.On September 25, 1999, he married Jessica Finnesgard in Bellechester, MN.Steve was a horse trainer for many years and enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his children. He is survived by his wife, Jessica, two sons, Spencer and Braylen DeFrang of Zumbrota, MN. and two daughters, Ella and Aubrey DeFrangof Zumbrota, MN., his parents James and Rita DeFrang of Zumbrota, MN, one sister, Michelle (Brent) McNallan of Plainview, MN, and two brothers, Daniel (Anne) DeFrang of New Port, MN. and Brian (Tami) DeFrang of Eyota, MN. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. There will be a funeral mass on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Zumbrota with Father Randal Kasel officiating.A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN and again one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Zumbrota Cemetery.
