Shirley Streiff

Shirley Ann Streiff, 78, of Rochester, MN passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Golden Living Center West in Rochester. Shirley was born on November 29, 1938 in Milnor, North Dakota to Clarence and Blanche (Dahlen) Nelson. She graduated from Monona High School in 1956. She married her husband Henry Streiff on July 12, 1958 in Rochester, Minnesota. Shirley worked at K-Mart and Marigold Foods as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed boating on the Mississippi and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Ronald Streiff, David (Pam) Streiff of Rochester and Kathy (Steve Ley) Matzke of Rochester; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Betty (Bob) Birlingame of CO., Carol Birlingame of WI. and Judy (Dick) Miller of IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Streiff (2001); her parents and her brother Gordon Nelson. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN. Visitation will take place Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Pastor Lincoln Engelbert will be officiating. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
