On August 2, 2011 Sheryl D. Iverson, 55, of Rochester, MN was called Home to God to work on craft projects. A celebration of her life will be at 2:00pm on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes.The funeral will be at 2:00pm, beginning with an Eastern Star service.Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.Visitation will be from 2:00 5:00pm on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Sheryl Dean Iverson was born on July 18, 1956 at Camp Pendleton, California to H. D. Corky and Vera (Black) Atkinson.She died on August 2, 2011 at her home in Rochester. Sheryl graduated from John Marshall High School in 1974 and attended college in Minneapolis, Minnesota.She worked in the Twin Cities and in Texas before moving back to Rochester in 1987.Sheryl worked for McGladrey and Pullen in information technology for 19 years. In 2008, she went to work with her sister, Teresa, at MFSI where she utilized her creativity as a network administrator, interior and landscaping designer. Sheryl was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rochester Chapter 193 and Grand Esther in the 2006-2007 Grand Family.She enjoyed using her creativity in music, crocheting and crafts of all kinds.She also enjoyed camping and nurturing the flowers in her yard, Survivors include her husband, Paul Iverson of Rochester; one daughter, Cora Noske of Rochester; three step-sons, Blake Iverson of Minneapolis, Bart (Becky Lieber) of Blaine, and Brady Iverson of Rochester; three grandchildren, Dominic (Brad Book), Christopher and Xander all of Rochester; her parents, H.D. Corky and Vera Atkinson of Rochester; and three sisters, Karen Atkinson of Rochester, Teresa (David) Walters of Rochester, and Carla (Brian) Nelson of Ollie, Iowa; nieces Laura, Kyia and Kara, and nephews Jeff, Nic, and Ehrich.; great-nieces and nephew.
