Sharon Glynn

Sharon Mildred (Buske) Glynn, 80, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023.

Sharon was born March 13, 1943, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Ralph and LeNora (Geise) Buske. She married James R. Glynn on December 18, 1961. Sharon was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her two children; Jackie Glynn and Brad (Christa Miller) Glynn; and three grandchildren, Jordan (Diana Orbelo) Glynn, Miranda Glynn and Brady Glynn. She was a loving sister and best friend to Marcia Buske. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents.

Jim and Sharon were high school sweethearts who were married for almost 62 years. During their life together they were surrounded by many wonderful friends, neighbors and family. Sharon enjoyed baking and cooking for her neighbors and family, playing cards with her dear, lifelong friends, going out for lunch and spending time with those she loved. She looked back with great joy on her time working with the staff and children at Meadow Park Daycare Center.

The family invites guests to a visitation on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:30 am, at Ranfranz Funeral Home 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN. A private family graveside service will follow the visitation at Oakwood East Cemetery in Rochester, MN. Memorials are preferred to Paws and Claws, or charity of choice.
