Scott James Feeser, 57, of Rochester, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Mayo Clinic RochesterMethodist Campus after a courageous fight against cancer. Scott was born in Lincoln, NE to Hollis and Patricia Feeser on May 28, 1958.The family moved to Rochester in 1961.While in grade school Scott was proud to be a member of Boy Scout Troop 98 at Elton Hills Elementary School.During his junior high and high school years he was involved with the Youth Group at Christ United Methodist Church.Scott graduated from John Marshall High School.After graduation he worked for Hardware Hank at Miracle Mile Shopping Center for a number of years and then was employed by Ford Metro Inc.He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Scott married Cindy Buckland in 1989 and was later divorced.He is survived by his parents; sister, Cheryl (Chuck) Smith of Minnetonka, MN; brother, Kent (Liz) Feeser of Viola; step children, Amber Buckland, Jennie Buckland and Minda Rueb; and three step-children, William Bailey, Adain Olson and Andrew Sorenson.He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorials are preferred to Mayo Hospice. A memorial service will be Saturday April 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church (400 5th Avenue SW).Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
