Sally May Aldrich, 72, of Rochester, MN. passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her residence in Rochester. Sally was born on April 6, 1944 in Southwick, MA. to Stanley and May (Hannigan) White. She grew up in Castro Valley, CA. and graduated high school there. Sally graduated from Jamestown College in Jamestown, ND. On August 20, 1966, she married Bruce Aldrich in Hayward, CA. The couple then moved to Iowa City, IA where they lived for thirteen years, moving to Rochester, MN. in 1979. Sally worked as a nurse at Maple Manor Nursing Home and Comfort Home Health Care in Rochester as well as for Ruffalo Drug Store. She was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism and enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting, beading, and many crafts. Sally is survived by her husband Bruce, of Rochester; her mother, May White of Laurel, MS; daughters, Jennifer (John) Cattanach of Fenton, MO. and Katie Aldrich-Waydick of Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren, Callum, Ailsa, Enora and Brom; and her sister, Sandra Richard of Laurel, MS. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.
