Ruth Mae Klennert

Ruth Mae Klennert, 88, of Rochester, MN passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Cottagewood Senior Communities in Rochester. Ruth was born August 28, 1928 in LaCrosse, WI. to Anton and Luella (Randall) Regstad. She grew up in Spring Valley, MN. On February 13, 1954, she married Orville Klennert in Spring Valley and the couple moved to Oronoco in 1954. Orville died in 1975. Ruth enjoyed reading, and crossword puzzles. She was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary in Oronoco. Ruth is survived by her three sons; Randy (Rebecca) Klennert of Pahrump, NV, Gary (Deb) Klennert of Oronoco, MN., and Steve (Suzanne) Klennert of Oronoco, MN; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville, her daughter Susan Kjeldaard, and her parents. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oronoco Cemetery.
