Ruth E. Kettner

ROCHESTER, MINN:Ruth E. Kettner, 91, died on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Season's Hospice in Rochester. Ruth was born September 17, 1920 to Carl and Bertha (Bratzke) Kettner in Pine Island Township, Goodhue County. After high school, Ruth worked for Dr. Philip S. Hench as a nanny and housekeeper. She also worked as a clerk for Weber and Judd Pharmacy for over thirty years and for twenty four years at Mayo Clinic as an accounting assistant. Ruth retired on July 14, 2011. She enjoyed photography, flowers and gardening, history, reading, baking and attending social gatherings. She will be missed by many friends and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents, a step father, step sister, and one brother. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Season's Hospice.
