Russell P. Kirkham

Racine-Russell P. Kirkham, 60, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Racine. He was born June 6, 1952 in Rochester to Newton and Dorothy (Ziemann) Kirkham. He worked at the Kahler for many years and was the owner and operator of Thunder Dome Gardens for 40 plus years. Russell was the manager of the Farmer Market in Rochester in the late 1980's. He was known for his variety of squashes and variety of lilies. He loved gardening. Russell was a born again Christian and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in St. Charles/ Message of the Cross Church in Rochester. Russell is survived by his brother, Martin (Carol) Kirkham of Rochester; niece, Jennifer and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Dorothy. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Friday, May 24, 2013 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00pm Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Rev. Dr. Daniel J.
