Ruben Antonio Romero, Sr.

Ruben Antonio Romero Sr., 62, of Rochester, MN passed away at his home surround by loved ones on August 10, 2017. Ruben was born on July 22, 1955 in Mercedes, Texas to Antonio Juares and Modesea Romero. Ruben grew up in Mexico and took great pride in being a migrant worker. In 1980, he and his family moved to Rochester, MN. He worked in environmental services at the Radisson Hotel, served over 15 years at Ability Building Center, and volunteered at various locations throughout Rochester. In 2008, Ruben moved to Hiawatha Homes in Rochester where he built numerous meaningful relationships. Ruben enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, listening to music, watching all forms of Wrestling, and most of all Ruben enjoyed laughing and spending quality time with his family. Ruben is survived by his son, Ruben (and his wife Jennifer) Romero, Jr. of Kasson, MN; daughters, Linda Romero, Cindy Romero, Heidi Romero, and Heather Romero, all of Rochester, MN; and thirteen grandchildren.
