Rosemerry A. Pagenhart, age 67, of Rochester, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester. Rosemerry Ann Pagenhart was born December 3, 1951 in Rochester, MN the daughter of Ralph and Genevieve (Miller) Rucker. She was baptized and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester. Rosemerry was a 1970 graduate of Mayo High School and furthered her schooling while employed with the Methodist Hospital as a hospital ward clerk. She married John Pagenhart on May 22, 1982 at Christ United Methodist Church. In addition to raising their son, Cody, they provided foster care through PATH for 15 years. They also had a love of plants and operated Pagenhart Plants Greenhouse at their home and Silver Lake Shopping Center for 5 years. Rosemerry most recently worked at Wendy's until her cancer diagnosis retiring in 2014. Rosemerry enjoyed camping, gardening, traveling, cruises, playing cards, and bingo at the casino. Together they spent their winters in Apache Junction, AZ. She adored her twin granddaughters and loved caring for them along with her nieces and nephews. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge in Rochester. Rosemerry is survived by her husband, John Pagenhart of Rochester, MN; son, Cody Pagenhart (Mercedes Milliken) of Rochester, MN; twin granddaughters, Sophia and Payten; mother, Genevieve Rucker of Buckeye, AZ; six siblings, Roger (Marilyn) Rucker of Waseca, MN, Linda (Bill) McBurney of Rochester, MN, Jacquelyn (Douglas) Swift of Puyallup, WA, Bruce (Wendie) Rucker of Rochester, MN, Duane (Patty) Rucker of Buckeye, AZ, Connie (Robert) Moulthrop of Apache Junction, AZ; brother-in-law, Dale Schulz of Apache Junction, AZ; nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Rucker and sister, Catherine Schulz. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 14, 2019 at Redeemer Lutheran Church 869 7th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904 with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
