ROCHESTER, MN:Rosemary Lorraine Brossoitwent to her Heavenly Father on Friday, July 19, 2013 surrounded by her family at home. Rosemary was born Rosemary Leibl on July 28, 1932 in St. Paul, Minnesota.Rosemary grew up in West St. Paul, MN and met Donald in 1953. They were married March 2, 1957 in St. Paul, MN and made their home in Rochester, MN. She took great pleasure in her family and was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother.Her spirit, sense of humor, smile, energy and encouragement touched everyone she met.Rosemary and Donald were fond of their daily walks throughout Rochester where they visited with friends and always met interesting people. Rosemary was an active member of First Baptist Church and subsequently Autumn Ridge Church since 1965.Her faith was a central part of her life and she found great joy in serving her church.She especially enjoyed working on the Funeral Committee, and also participated in Womens Bible Study and the Library Committee. She is survived by her husband Donald; children, David, Daniel (Kim), Jeanna Paradise (Verl Raap) and Susan Kimball; grandchildren, Jeff Paradise (Kady), Brad Paradise (Brenna), Leah Brossoit and Blake Paradise; sister, Joanne Stassen; and niece, Lynn Koehn.She was preceded in death by her father, George Leibl and mother, Lilly Leibl Miller. Her family wishes to thank Mayo Hospice and the staff of Mayo Oncology and Radiation Oncology for their wonderful and compassionate care. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 24 at Autumn Ridge Church main Sanctuary with the Reverend C. John Steer officiating.Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.Visitation will be from 5:00-700 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.A reception will follow at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Salvation Army or Autumn Ridge Church.
