Ronald H. Wilcox

Ronald H. Wilcox age 77 of Florida, and former Rochester resident passed away April 5, 2011.Born January 8, 1934 in Lansing, Michigan to Howard Wilcox & Norma (Hancock) Wilcox Lee.He married Lael Mary Books and she preceded him in death June 18, 2002. He was a supervisor of The Section of Engineering at Mayo Clinic for 40 years. He retired to Florida, and was active in the Elks Club, Ducks Unlimited, and the Over 55 Club at Eagle Harbor. He was a devoted family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his children: Susan Bergeson (Steve) of Rochester, MN, Randall Wilcox (Marcia) of Apple Valley, MN, Kimberly Wilcox-Gunsalus (Richard) of Los Gatos, CA, and Jill Colvin (Greg) of Excelsior, MN; 9 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren. His siblings: Jane Olney (Larry) of Holt, MI and John Wilcox (Nancy) of Lansing, MI. His wife and parents preceded him in death. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held 11 AM Saturday April 16, 2011 at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes, with visitation one hour before the services.
