Romaine Rivera Cappel

Romaine R. (Sweeney) Cappel, 92, of Rochester Minnesota passed away December 12, 2016 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Pine Island, Minnesota to Rex and Lillian (Hanson) Sweeney. On September 24, 1949, she married F. Edward Cappel. Romaine enjoyed dancing, music, books, traveling, camping, fishing and flea marketing. She shared her love through cooking, sewing and the written word. Romaine is survived by her son, Thomas Cappel (Gail); and three daughters: Ann Cappel, Rebecca Schinas (David), and Michelle Cappel; granddaughter, Jessica, and grandson, Roman; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; son, William Cappel; granddaughter Tasia (Cappel) Shelly; a brother and three sisters. There will be a private service for family.
