Roland Graves

Roland Everett Graves, age 93, of Rochester, Minnesota died on September 26, 2023 at Mayo Clinic St. Mary's Hospital.

Roland was born on February 18, 1930 to Bruce and Ella (Roe) Graves. He graduated from Jackson High School in MN. After graduation he enlisted in the US Army. Roland married Marilyn (Mari) Strom on June 15, 1951 and they remained in Jackson County, MN where they farmed for a number of years. Later, he owned and operated Mr. Steak Restaurant from 1967 into the late 1980s.

Roland made many memories taking road trips to Alaska. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his dogs; he loved them and they loved him.

Roland is survived by his wife Mari; children Cindy Jorgenson of Highlands Ranch, CO and Scott Graves of Chanhassen, MN; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister Elaine Graves.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Autumn Ridge Church Timothy Chapel with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oakwood East.
