Robert Niles Mast

MAST Robert Niles Mast, 51, of Dodge Center, passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident. Rob was born September 29, 1964 in Rochester, NY to William Gerald and Yvonne (Saner) Mast. He attended Tartan High School in Oakdale, MN before moving to Rochester, MN and graduating from John Marshall High School. After graduation, Rob served his mission in Arcadia, CA. He then attended Ricks College in Rexsburg, Idaho before going to Utah State University. On August 14, 1990, Rob married Jennifer Davis at the Washington DC Temple in Kensington, MD. Rob loved trains, stamp collecting and playing his guitar. He was an avid reader and loved to travel with his family to the North Shore, Italy, Greece and Hawaii. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Rob is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer; son, Hayden Mast of Logan, UT; mother, Yvonne Mast of Oakdale, MN; father and stepmother, Gerald and Cheryl Mast of Byron, MN; brothers, Mitchell and Nicholas both of Byron and sister, Veronica (Christopher) Voigt of Rochester. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday, December 28, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2300 Viola Heights Dr. NE, Rochester, MN 55906. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00pm Sunday, December 27, 2015 and one hour prior to the service all at the church. Interment will be at Byron Cemetery, Byron, MN.
