Robert John Fuchs

Robert (Bob) John Fuchs passed away November 24, 2017, at the age of 58, at his home in Rochester, Minnesota. Bob will be lovingly remembered and is survived by his wife of 6 years, Connie, his mom Mary Fuchs, brother Jerry (Patrice) Fuchs, sister Joan Fuchs, niece Angela (Chris) Wilhelm, nephews Gavin (Mayer) Fuchs, Tyler Fuchs and Jordan Fuchs and great niece Adelaide Wilhelm. He is also survived by his step-daughter Rachel Aljets and grandchildren, Trey, Tia, Devin, Brent and Ethan. Bob was born on September 1, 1959 in Pittsburg Pennsylvania to John & Mary Fuchs. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Mark. Bob spent most of his life in the Rochester, MN area, primarily on a farm outside of Pine Island where he learned to love the outdoors, and became an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman. Bob graduated from Pine Island High School in 1977, after which, he spent many years working for Arnie Gathje Homes learning the craft and building homes. Prior to his passing, Bob had worked at the Salvation Army for 10 years in various positions. He loved his co-workers, and brought an enviable work ethic and delightful presence to the store. Bob's big heart and infectious laugh will be fondly remembered by his co-workers, customers, friends and family. A memorial service and luncheon will be held at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 1:00pm.
