Robert Coe

Robert L. Coe, 79, of Rochester, MN died Saturday, March 24, 2018 after a five-year struggle with dementia. Robert died at Madonna Towers with his wife, Sheila, and their daughter, Jackie, by his side. Robert Lowell Coe was born August 26, 1938 to Harold and Marion (Brown) Coe in Rochester, MN. He graduated from Rochester High School in 1956. Robert married Sheila Postier in Rochester on December 26, 1959. Robert retired from IBM in 1991 after a 35-year career as a quality engineer. Robert had a second career at Celestica, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing, and watching the Twins, Vikings and the Wild. Most importantly, Robert loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. Robert is survived by his wife, Sheila of Rochester; his children, Gregory Coe, Jacqueline (Paul) Sheeran of Rochester and Wendy (Christopher) Ratcliffe of Hemel Hempstead, England; and two grandsons, Matthew (Dominica) Rehbein and Alex (Kelli) Rehbein. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Raymond Coe. There will be a Celebration of Life visitation from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre (5482 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN). A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery.
