Richard D. Haley

Richard D. Haley, 78, of Inver Grover Heights, MN died on May 10, 2013 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN surrounded by loving family and friends.He was born on June 7, 1934 in Minneapolis, MN to Richard and Margaret (Doyle) Haley. Richard graduated from High School in Albert Lea, MN and the University of Minnesota with a degree in Electrical Engineering.He worked for many different corporations as an Electrical Engineer and a consultant.He loved music especially jazz and playing the trombone.He enjoyed hunting with his friends in Iowa and fishing up north.He embraced life to the fullest and touched so many of our lives, he will be missed by all. Survivors include two sons, Mark (Coleen) Haley of St. Paul, MN and Kevin Haley of June Mountain, CA and one daughter, Margaret (Gus) Broman of Eagan, MN; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter; one sister, Maureen French of Rochester, MN and his significant other, Lorraine Holleschau.He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Thomas Haley. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
