Rhonda Rose Kasten

A memorial service for Rhonda R. Kasten 52 of Byron, MN will be at 12 noon on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester, MN.Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Saturday, at the funeral home, with the service immediately following. RhondaRose Parmenter was born on March 6, 1961 at the Tomah Memorial Hospital in Tomah, WI to Ronald and Diane (Carlson) Parmenter.She passed away on February 16, 2014 at Rochester Methodist Hospital. Rhonda graduated from New Lisbon High School. She married Jeff Kasten on June 3, 1989 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rochester. Rhonda provided daycare for ten years and later worked with her husband at Byron Auto Repair.She loved boating and spending time with her dear friends and family on the Mississippi River.She enjoyed old cars and car shows, including organizing the Fun in the Sun car show in Byron, MN every year.Rhonda was an amazing mother to her two children and an incredible wife to her husband of 25 years.Rhonda was one of the most caring and loving women youd ever meet.She was nothing but thrilled and overly excited for the upcoming birth of her first grandchild Aurora, who is due March 31, 2014.Rhonda was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, and friend who will be dearly missed. Survivors include her husband, Jeff Kasten of Byron, MN; her two children, Cory and Kendra Kasten of Byron, MN; her father, Ronald Parmenter of New Lisbon, WI; and her brother, Rod (Mindy) Parmenter of Marshfield, WI.Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother, and brother, Phillip, in infancy.
