Reginald T. Beach

Memorial services for Reginald T. Beach, 88, of Rochester, MN will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Burial will be at Chester Hill Cemetery in Chester, IA at a later date. Reginald Thomas Beach was born on February 2, 1927 in Egham, England to Frederick and Dorothy (Wilson) Beach.He passed away on October 6, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. Reginald attended Egham Council School and got a job as a Plumber's Apprentice and worked for John Drake and Company in England.He entered the English Army (The Royal Rifle Brigade) and served his time in Greece and Jerusalem.He married Betty Rance on July 14, 1951 in England and moved to the Leroy, MN area in 1959.He retired from White Corporation in 1991.He enjoyed traveling with hiswife and children and later tooktrips with Betty.Family was important to him and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.He enjoyed fishing, trapping, hunting, gardening and metal detecting. Survivors include his wife, Betty of Rochester; two sons, David (Dawn) of Rochester, MN and Timothy (Linda) of Byron, MN; four grandchildren, Jamie, Nicole (Michael) Liazuk, Josh and Casey and two great grandchildren, Tristin and Ryland.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald and Vic.
