Funeral services for Pauline A. Quade, 93, of Rochester, Minnesota will be at 11:00am on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes with the Reverend Karna Hagen officiating.Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Pauline Augusta Quade was born on September 12, 1918 in Barnum, Iowa to August and Sophia (Zehems) Quade.She died on September 12, 2011 at her home in Rochester. Pauline moved with her family to LeRoy, Minnesota and graduated from LeRoy High School.She went to cosmetology school and worked as a beautician for a while and later worked as a bookkeeper and in retail sales in Rochester.She also owned and operated the VP convenience store on Sand Prairienear Wabasha, Minnesota with her sister, Veranice.Pauline was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.The family would like to give special thanks to Comfort Home Healthcare, Home Instead Senior Care and Seasons Hospice for the special care they gave to Pauline. Survivors include two sisters, Arlene Johnson of Rochester, Minnesota and Maxine Greene of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; sister-in-law, Ardella Quade of Wabasha, Minnesota and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jerry Quade and two sisters, Veranice Reilly and Ella Mae Davis.
