ROCHESTER: MINN. Paul J. Kreter, 92, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his home. Paul was born November 3, 1920 in Rochester to Emil and Mabel (Matson) Kreter. Paul was a graduate of Rochester High School. On October 12, 1946, Paul married Alice Marge Molda at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, proudly serving his country during WWII. Paul was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for 65 years and a member of the American Legion Post 92 in Rochester. Paul worked as a contractor for many years, building many of the homes in Rochester. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being active in church. Paul also loved planes and attending air shows. Above all, Paul loved spending time and making memories with his family. Paul is survived by his two sons, Daniel (Jeanne) Kreter-Killian of San Francisco, CA, and Leigh (Dianna) Kreter of Harmony; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and one brother, Robert (Elaine) Kreter of Rochester. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Marge; parents, Emil and Mabel; sister, Mildred Lubahn and brother, Garfield Kreter. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church222 6th Ave. SW, Rochester with the Rev. Joel Haak officiating. Visitation will be held 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Viola, at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012.
